How Lions Learn
“There is no single best way to teach, because there is no single best way to learn.”
Committed to producing lifelong learners and impactful graduates, The Division of Academic Affairs is on a mission to educate the whole person. This is accomplished by infusing the university’s values of leadership, character and service into classroom study and hands-on learning opportunities. Through instruction, scholarship, co-curricular opportunities, engagement, research and wrap-around support systems, the Academic Affairs team equips students to thrive in a highly competitive, global marketplace. Most importantly, staff wants students to know they aren’t alone on their educational journeys at FMU. They pride themselves on building relationships that meet students where they are and bring them where they need to be.
